These stands fit our Variable Capacity Tanks. They raise the tanks off the ground allowing better access to the Tri Clamp fitting. The benefit to any serious wine maker, these secure stands will raise your tank off of the ground, making it easier to use the valve to drain, rack, or take samples from your batches. The increased height also allows for easier cleaning of your wine tank, which will help save you valuable time during production.

A hand pump from Minox for inflating the seal on a tank floating lid, so you can set the lid down onto the wine and pump the gasket up against the tank wall. The handle title does mention a hook and a small size, though the product title itself does not, so the listing is inconsistent there. Confirm the fitting against your lid valve before ordering.

Stainless steel oil floating lids are suitable for all types of variable capacity tanks. This type of floating lid prevents the wine to come into contact with air.

Usually, tanks or containers/tanks opened at the top, are ideal for this style of lid.

The floating lid is positioned on the liquid inside the tank and on the surface that remains in contact with the air, oil is poured between the edge of the floating lid and the inner surface of the tank. This system will protect wine from air contact (Oxidation or other).

The oil is odorless, tasteless and for food use, being lighter than wine the oil stays afloat and prevents air from coming into contact with the liquid.

** Some of these lids come with the rob lifting lug and others don't. So, they will just plain.

Hose with an 8 mm internal diameter, for the seals on variable capacity tanks. This is the line that inflates the lid seal, and it perishes or splits where it bends, usually somewhere near the valve. Internal diameter here is 8 mm. Measure the hose coming off your tank before ordering, or bring an offcut into Laverton North or Epping, and we will match it for you.
