Beverage Transfer & Pumps

Made in Italy. This easy-to-use telescopic siphon works with demijohns and most vessels with a narrower opening. To use it, you need to blow into the small tube to pressurize your vessel and start the flow of the liquid. It comes with a butterfly tap at the output end which allows a practical flow control.

The bung provided is tapered and allows the use with different containers with neck openings from approximately 3 to 7cm. The 120 cm long hose (1/2" diameter) can come off the top easily.  The main feature of this siphon is the telescopic racking tube that can extend up to 80cm.

The Novax Electric Transfer Pump by Rover is an instrument for the transfer of liquids, mostly suited to wine and oil, perfect for home use.

It is a star-shaped impeller model designed mainly for the transport of food-grade liquids such as wine, oil and beer, with a temperature not exceeding 35°C, with a percentage of particles in suspension of less than 0.5%. If necessary, a special narrow mesh filter can be installed at the end of the suction pipe.

Bravopleat BLP are cost effective pleated cartridges manufactured from polypropylene media and components. These cartridges are designed to remove bacteria, yeast, moulds and macro colloid in wine, beer, liquors and soft drinks industries.

Bravopleat BLP cartridges have an external diameter of 66 mm to be able to retrofit competitive cartridge housings.

These cartridges are suitable for Tenco tandem filter housing. Typical Bravopleat BLP applications are chemicals and water treatment.

This Italian pump is a classic self priming lateral liquid ring pump with the starry impeller. It is particularly made for the transfer of liquids such as wine, must, salty and soft water, milk, oil, and soil, whose viscosity is not over 30 degrees CENTISTOKES or over 4 degrees ENGLER.

This particular type of hydraulics provides the pump with an extraordinary self priming capacity, also in absence of a continuous flowing of the liquids in suction (presence of air or other gases).

The fluids to be conveyed are to be neutral and clean or contain in suspension only a small percentage of solids (0.2-0.5% max). They are to have a hardness and granulation which prevent the damage of the inside pump surface. Yet a narrow mesh filter can be mounted on the suction piping. At best use by keeping the pump below the vessel. 

ByPass feature provides pressure and flow rate reduction.

Not recommended for hot liquids as the tubing will bend and kink, preventing flow. For hot liquids we suggest silicone tubing.

Silicone Rubber Tube 12mm ID x 21mm OD High quality, food safe silicone tubing for transfer of hot or cold liquid.

Tube does not support the growth of bacteria with age, and will not crack or perish. The surfaces are smooth and therefore easy to clean.

Tube is white and does not collapse or become floppy even when very hot.

This lightweight clamp features a worm drive mechanism suitable for securing inflatable tank seals with diameters from 8 to 15 mm. A white 240V 10A power switch, supplied by Rover as a spare for their pumps. It is the part to look at when the pump has gone dead and the lead and outlet have both checked out fine. Electrical work should be left to a qualified person. Confirm the switch matches your pump model before ordering, or bring the old one in to Laverton North or Epping.

A 10 microfarad capacitor for Rover pumps, white, 30mm diameter by 80mm long. A pump that hums but will not start is very often a dead capacitor rather than a dead motor, and this is a far cheaper thing to replace. Supplied as the capacitor alone. Check the rating and the dimensions against the one in your pump before ordering.

A 19mm non return valve, packaged ready to fit. It holds liquid in the line when the pump stops rather than letting it drain back on you. The body will be marked for flow direction, so note which way it goes in. Check the 19mm size against your existing fittings before ordering, or bring the line fitting in and we will match it on the counter.
