On the shelf, the Keg King food grade grease lube in the 28g tube is the handy size for o rings, disconnects and keg posts. The Kegland food grade lube at 113g is the same idea in a bigger tub for anyone servicing a few kegs at a time. The Moreys food grade grease tube, made in the USA, is the heavier option. Enartis Enoplastico Special is a different animal altogether, a bung putty for sealing around barrel bungs and fittings rather than lubricating anything.

The tip most people learn the hard way. A smear is plenty. Grease the o ring itself rather than packing the groove, then wipe the excess off. Too much simply attracts grit, and grit is what actually wears a seal out.
