The plastic Novatwist 30x60mm closure is a great solution for home-bottling to suit any wine bottle with the BVS external thread 30mm. Choose pack size and colour from the dropdown. These caps can be screwed down/applied by hand (no machine required).

• The capsule part will separate from the screw cap once the bottle has been opened, leaving the capsule on the bottle.

The reference #1 corks are the traditional bottle closure for wine intended for long term maturation and storage. A silicone coating on the cork reduces the drag when it slides through the corker. Newly purchased corks in an unopened pack do not require sterilization. To soften the corks for easier insertion by manual corkers, only then place in a colander over a bucket and allow boiled water vapour to rise up through the corks for a few minutes before using.

To soften the corks for easier insertion by manual corkers, place them in a sieve or colander and pour boiling water over them. Allow the corks to rest in the hot vapour for a few minutes before using.

Storage for 1-5 years

These synthetic corks are modern closure for wine bottles allowing up to 5 years storage. Little to no maturation. By wetting the corks with an SO2 solution, will provide the sterilisation and moderate lubrication required when passing through most corking machines or place a few drops of Vaseline oil or glycerine in a bowl of water and dip in and out for a second.

Product Overview

Capsules provide an attractive tamper-evident finish to a bottle, but do not provide a barrier to air or keep mold from growing on the cork and can not be used as a bottle closure.
The capsules require a heat source of 350-400 degrees F such as a heat tunnel (SHT), bench model capsuler (HT), a paint stripping gun or a quick immersion in boiling water will work as well. The best method is to use a heat tunnel, which will shrink them smoothly around the neck of the bottles. The capsules will fit on cork finish bottles.
