Every making job eventually needs something long enough to reach the bottom of the vessel without putting your arm in it. Stirring a mash, folding a curd, lifting pasta out of boiling water, moving grain or salt from a sack into a tub. That is what this lot is for.
Timber for stirring, plastic for scooping is a fair rule. The Paddle Wood Bastone with Long Handle and the Spoon Wood Long Handle are what people reach for with mash, must and big pots, and the Italian 3 Piece Wooden Set gives you a spoon, paddle and fork together. For dry goods, the SSS white plastic scoops come at 19cm, 29cm and 38cm long, so pick by how deep your sack or tub is rather than by how much you want to lift. The stainless Ladle deep soup spoon by Ken Hands and the Tomato and Pasta Scoop Strainer handle the wet side of the kitchen.
