Every project we sell into ends with somebody needing a big clean container. Salami mince waiting to be seasoned, dough resting before it is portioned, olives sitting in brine, tomatoes on their way to the sauce machine. Bowls that look generous in the cupboard turn out to be nowhere near big enough once you are working with proper quantities, and that is where the trouble starts.

Work backwards from batch size. At the big end, the 65L Oval Plastic White Tub from SSS Italy has handles and is the one people reach for on salami day or a sauce day. The Wood Madie Mixing Tub is the traditional timber trough, lovely for dough and for hand mixing. For smaller work, the Ken Hands stainless steel mixing bowls run from 0.5 litre up through 2.5 litre to a 47.5cm 12 litre bowl. The 9L White Plastic Stackable Crates with lids from SSS Plastic and GIGANPLAST Italia, the Square Crate in white and the round lidded crate are for carrying, storing and stacking rather than mixing.
