A kit is for the person who would rather start than shop. Instead of working out which yeast, which carbon, which clearing agent and which fittings go together, someone has already done that and put it in one box. It is also the honest way to find out whether you enjoy the process before you spend on a bigger setup.
What is here sits mostly on the distilling side. Still Spirits build companion kits around their own gear, so the Air Still Pro accessories essentials kit, the SS Create+ complete companion kit and the T500 Pro version are matched to those machines, and the T500 fermenter kits come in copper or stainless steel. Pure Distilling take a different approach, with the Spirit Maker kit as the starting point, the Distillery kit and Deluxe Distillery kit adding more of the accessories, and an upgrade kit if you already own the basics. Their premium wash pack is yeast, clear and carbon together, and the stainless repacking kit is for the PD copper reflux condenser. Our own Turbo Wash package brings dextrose, yeast and finings into one bundle. On the gin side, the Mad Millie hand crafted gin starter kit is the usual gift.
