Order Processing and Dispatch

All online orders are dispatched from our warehouse within 1-7 business days, depending on stock availability.

If a transfer of items from our stores to the warehouse is required, additional days may be needed.

Orders are processed during business hours only and exclude weekends and public holidays.
Dispatch Process
At The Artisan’s Bottega, we carefully pick and pack all orders based on the time they were placed, ensuring a fair and organised dispatch process. We do not prioritise any orders unless specifically requested by the customer. As a small team, we are dedicated to dispatching all orders in a timely manner while maintaining the highest standards of care during packing.
Our team works diligently to process orders during business hours, ensuring they are securely packed and dispatched as soon as possible. If you have a special request for urgent dispatch, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Standard Shipping Options
We offer three Standard Shipping Options on our website: Standard 1, 2, and 3. These options exist to ensure flexibility and coverage, as not all couriers quote to all regions. Customers can select the most cost-effective option for their order based on the quotes provided.

Important Note: Paying for a more expensive standard shipping option does not guarantee express shipping. These are all standard delivery services.
Express Shipping Requests
If you require express shipping:

Choose any Standard Shipping Option during checkout.

Once the order is placed, please raise a ticked on our website to request an express shipping quote.

Once we receive your request, we will forward it to our warehouse team for processing.
Please note: Express shipping requests are subject to warehouse workload on the day and may be declined. However, we will do our best to accommodate your needs wherever possible.
In-Store Pickups
You can opt for the Store Pick-Up option at cart. This service is available at both of our store locations.
Once your order is ready for collection, you will receive an email notification from our stores. Please wait for this confirmation email (Inbox, Junk/Spam folders) before heading to the store.
For your convenience, please bring a copy of your order confirmation and a valid ID when picking up your order.

For shipping quotes, simply add your products to the cart and input your shipping address at checkout to view available options and costs.
International Shipping

We offer international shipping to select countries. If shipping rates are not displayed at checkout, please contact us for a quote.

International orders are exclusive of GST and will not include this charge on the final invoice.

We recommend checking with your local customs authority before placing an order to ensure the products you purchase are not restricted imports.
Couriers typically operate Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm, so providing a business address for delivery is preferred to ensure smooth and timely delivery. Please note that all parcels dispatched via courier are sent with an “Authority to Leave” designation, meaning the courier can leave the package at the delivery address if no one is available to receive it. For the security of your goods, we recommend closely monitoring the tracking information sent to you via email once your order is in transit.
Delivery Methods
We work with a network of professional couriers and transport companies to deliver your goods reliably. Our delivery service includes the following options:

Standard Parcel Shipping: For parcels under 1000 kg, shipping options and costs will be provided at checkout. You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order is dispatched.

Heavy or Oversized Items: For parcels over 1000 kg, you may choose to collect your order from our Epping Store or contact us for a shipping quote.

Same-Day Delivery (Melbourne Metro): A taxi truck courier service is available for same-day delivery within 2-6 hours of warehouse booking.
Important Shipping Information

All online orders are shipped via our trusted third-party carriers to ensure cost-effective delivery.

Once your order has been dispatched, the transport company assumes full responsibility for its handling and delivery. Any inquiries or updates regarding the parcel’s status during transit should be directed to the carrier.

Please note that the estimated delivery time is in addition to the order processing and dispatch time.

All parcels are dispatched with "Authority to Leave", meaning they may be left at your doorstep if no one is available to receive them.

For deliveries to PO Boxes or private lockers via Australia Post, we can only send parcels up to 20 kg. Larger parcels require a physical address.

For large or heavy items shipped on pallets, please ensure adequate road access for delivery trucks and the availability of an authorised forklift operator for unloading. Additional charges may apply if manual unloading is required.

If your address is in a remote location requiring special transport (e.g., light aircraft or barge), delivery times and costs may vary. We will contact you if additional charges apply.

Any additional charges incurred by the transport company for services such as manual unloading, waiting time, redeliveries, or other handling fees will be the responsibility of the customer. These services are considered extra costs and may result in additional charges.

To avoid unexpected fees, please inform us of any special delivery requirements in advance so we can provide an accurate quote before dispatching your order.
Damages and Insurance
While we take great care to pack your order securely, we are not liable for any loss or damage during transport. If insurance is required for your shipment, please contact us prior to dispatch to arrange additional paid services.
