Glass items are delicate and often heavy, making shipping costs higher compared to other products. At The Artisans Bottega, we've diligently researched shipping options to provide competitive rates while ensuring the safe delivery of your glass items. Here's what you need to know:
- Fragility and Weight: Glass is fragile and heavy, contributing to higher shipping costs.
- Packaging: We take great care in safely packaging glass items to minimise the risk of damage during transit.
- Carrier Responsibility: Once your order leaves our warehouse, the responsibility shifts to the courier. While we do our best to ensure safe delivery, we cannot control actions taken by the carriers. Please note that couriers have the right to dispose of packages if they are damaged.
- Recycled Packaging: To protect glass items during transit, we may use recycled packaging materials. This might contribute to slightly higher shipping costs but ensures the safety of your order.
- Damage Disclaimer: Unfortunately, we cannot cover damages that occur during transit. As such, we do not offer refunds for damaged deliveries.
- Warranty Exclusion: Glass products are excluded from our warranty policy due to their fragile nature.
Pick Up Option:
To help you save on shipping costs, we offer a convenient pick-up service at our stores and warehouses. Here are the details:
- Free Pick Up: You can collect your order from our designated pick-up locations.
- Responsibility: It is your responsibility to pick up your order once it's ready.
- Arranging Pick Up: Upon order processing, you'll receive an email with collection address and instructions. You can also arrange your own courier for pick-up, provided payment has been cleared beforehand.
- Confirmation: Once your order is confirmed, we'll email you with the pick-up address and schedule the best day and time for collection.
