Triclover, Camlock & Others
Tri-clover is the fitting system that lets you pull a rig apart, clean it properly and put it back together without tools. A ferrule on each side, a gasket between, one clamp over the top. Camlock does a similar job for hoses, joining and releasing with a flick of two levers. Both are worth it if you are tired of unions that seize or weep.
Sizes run mostly 1.5 inch (38 mm) and 2 inch (50 mm), with some 4 inch (100 mm) on the fermenter side. Kegland supply most of it, including tri-clover clamps, a 38 mm elbow, a 1.5 inch stainless butterfly valve, a 1.5 inch sight glass, a concentric reducer cone taking 2 inch down to 1 inch in 304 stainless, and a 2 inch stainless mesh screen with PTFE. For fermenters there is a 4 inch pressure lid with a 2 inch port, hop bong pressure kits in 2 inch for the FermZilla and 4 inch for Kegmenters, plastic hop bong sight glass ferrules in both sizes, and the Gen 3 FermZilla pressure lid five piece kit. Crossing systems, there is an adaptor from a 38 mm ferrule to 19 mm female BSP, and Keg King stainless camlocks with BSP threads. A 4 inch blank end cap closes off what you are not using.
Buy spare gaskets when you buy the clamp. They are the cheapest part and the first thing to fail.

Upgrade your FermZilla All Rounder or Tri-Conical with the new 2 Inch Tri-Clover Lid. Add yeast, hops or even take samples from a wine thief from the top and not have to remove the entire lid.
