An electric tomato machine turns passata day from a two day job into an afternoon. It separates skin and seed from pulp in one pass, and once you have run a few hundred kilos through one you will not go back to a handle.
Fabio Leonardi are the machines most Italian families here own, and we sell the sauce packages three ways: bare motor, with a white motor cover, or with a stainless steel cover. FLB have been making the same design in the same family factory since 1917, and every part of it is replaceable, which is the whole reason we stock them.
Reber tomato machines come in 0.5 and 1 horsepower with the RE05 attachment, and there is a 0.3 horsepower motor and attachment for smaller batches. RGV make the Pommi Junior and the heavy duty Pommi HD, which takes Reber compatible parts, plus the Duetto three in one food processor if you want the machine to earn its bench space the rest of the year. Grifo do a 0.5 horsepower Italian machine, and Ferrari the Palumbo electric.
Sizing is about how many families are working together, not how many tomatoes you personally have. Half a horsepower handles a household day comfortably. A full horsepower is what a shared February looks like.

Build for tomato paste at first, it can be used for jams with the use of the appropriate filter. The SP3EL is extremely simple and handy, made with detachable components to make it easy to wash, even in the dishwasher. The body is made of cast iron suitable for food contact. The funnel and the chute are made of nylon, which is light but resistant. The filter cone is in AISI 304 stainless-steel while the squeezing propeller is in nylon, suitable for food contact and anti-friction (not subject to corrosion).
The functionality, sturdiness and durability of the machine are guaranteed by the epicyclic reducer coated in grease, which multiplies the force of the engine like no other product on the market can.

Fabio Leonardi’s Electric Passata Machine ideal for the home professional.
This machine comes with a SP5 tomato passata press. The SP5 Passata Attachment has an indicative working capacity of 300-400kg of tomatoes per hour. The funnel, tomato chute and the filter are in 18/10 stainless steel. The body, auger, and ring in cast steel with a nylon coating. Niploy coating is a metal treatment far superior to tin or other treatments, resulting in industry-leading corrosion resistance.
This heavy-duty direct drive motor has a 1hp motor, running at 120 revolutions per minute with forward and a pulse reverse switch. There are steel driving gears and permanent grease lubrication, making for a strong and reliable motor, and little to no maintenance required.
There is also an option to add a #22 meat mincing attachment to this machine, utilising the same motor.
Also available is a stainless-steel splash guard.
Instructions for use:
Never run your machine dry. Always be sure to have a tomato in the hopper before turning the unit on. Never overfill the tomato hopper or force tomato into the hopper, which could cause blockages. Allow the machine to take the tomato as it goes, it will work most efficiently this way.
After each use disassemble the machine parts immediately and wash them thoroughly with water and a mild noncorrosive detergent.
Once all parts are clean dry any remaining moisture from all parts. Refer to the instruction manual for further cleaning and maintenance information.
Able to process blanched or raw tomatoes.
