Fresh Wort Kits
A fresh wort kit is unfermented wort, already brewed and ready to pour straight into your fermenter. No mash, no boil, no grain bill to weigh out. You pitch yeast, control your temperature and let it do the work. For plenty of people it is the honest middle ground between a tin of extract and a full all grain day.
Most of what we carry is All Inn in 15 L, and the range covers styles people actually drink. Australian Pale Ale and Pale Lager if you want something clean and sessionable. Citra XPA, Mosaic XPA and Sabro XPA if you are chasing hop aroma. West Coast IPA and Double IPA for bitterness. Hazy Pale Ale and White IPA for something softer. Japanese Lager for a crisp one. Then Black IPA, Robust Porter and Imperial Stout when the weather turns. There is also the Hop Nation XPA Artisan Ale kit from Keg King, which comes with two lots of dry hops.
One thing worth knowing. The wort is fresh, so treat it like fresh food. Get it into a sanitised fermenter and pitch as soon as you can rather than leaving the cube sitting in a warm shed. A steady fermentation temperature will do more for the finished beer than anything else you change.
Grab brewing yeast and a fermenter at the same time, or add hops for dry hopping. Come and see us at Laverton North or Epping, or browse the rest of beer brewing.
