Description

These fresh wort kits are made on a Speidel 500L Braumeister Brewery. As with all of our kits it is all grain and brewed true to style.
NOTE: They kits are generally designed to add 3 litres of water to dilute. Yeast not included.

A tasty hoppy amber recipe made in colaboration between 2 Birds Brewing and Grain & Grape.

Dry Hopping is not essential with this beer but if you’d like to experiment you could try 40g of Galaxy or Cascade in the fermenter 3 days before packaging.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

Approximate cube volume: 16.5L.
Starting Gravity: 1.064 undiluted, 1.054 with 3 litres of water added
Bitterness: 40 IBU’s using US Warrior hops.
Grist make up: JW Ale 35%, JW Pilsner 35%, Weyermann Melanoidin 10%, JW Munich 10%, JW Wheat 6%, JW Caramalt 3.5% and JW Roast Malt 0.5%.
Flavour hopped with Galaxy and Cascade.

No dry hopping suggestions.

Recommended yeasts:
Bluestone San Diego, SAF US05 or Danstar BRY97.
