RGV have been building small Italian kitchen machines since the 1960s, and the reason we carry sixty eight lines of them is that they are the sensible middle ground: more machine than a department store appliance, less money than commercial gear.
The slicers are the best known. The Ausonia and Ausonia Smarty are the compact ones for a home bench, the Lucy GS at 200mm and the Lusso GS at 250mm add an onboard sharpener, and the Luxury 250 sits at the top of the domestic range including a red and teflon edition. Blade diameter decides what you can slice, so a 250 handles a whole salami where a 190 will not.
The VIP8 electric bench cheese grater will take a wheel of parmigiano without complaint, which is the job that destroys ordinary graters.
For February, the Pommi Junior and Pommi HD tomato sauce machines separate skin and seed in one pass, and the HD takes Reber compatible parts. The Duetto is the three in one: a food processor, grater and mincer in a single body, which earns its bench space the rest of the year.
