Stainless Steel Dome False Bottoms

For your Brewery Systems, a Standing False Bottom is available.These standing false bottoms act as a filter above the kettle base and pump intake, replacing your hopspider. Brewers can still remove bright wort from either the ball valve or the pump, and it works well for filtering particulate matter in your kettle.

We do not suggest using the standing false bottom if your machine has a sight glass mounted. Increased filtering will result in a lower volume of liquid in the base and more vigorous boiling, causing boiling liquid to spurt up the sight glass.

After whirlpooling, hop additions will form a cone on top of the false bottom. Perfect for pellet, whole cone, and plug hop varieties.
