Maintaining a stable pH or hydrogen ion concentration is crucial to obtaining a good yield from fermentation. The solution is available in red or green.

pH7 is ideal for those requiring an accurate neutral reading, particularly those working in water purification, the food industry, the medical industry, aquatics and hydroponics or wherever the pH is expected to be neutral. 

The pH of juice or wine is important to know as it plays a critical role in many aspects of winemaking, in particular wine stability.

Buffer solutions should be stored at 25C and away from direct sunlight for accurate readings.
