Cool up to 35 litres of hot wort to yeast-pitching temperature with this compact stainless steel immersion chiller. Supplied with the BrewZilla range and compatible with 35L BrewZilla Gen 4 and Gen 3.1.1 systems, it is ideal as a replacement chiller or for use with other suitably sized brewing vessels.

The versatile design can be immersed directly in hot wort with cold water running through the coil, or placed in an ice bath while wort is pumped through it.

Key Features

Designed for 35L BrewZilla Systems
Suitable as a replacement immersion chiller for BrewZilla 35L Gen 4 and Gen 3.1.1 brewing systems.

304 Stainless Steel Construction
Made from durable 304 stainless steel for dependable brewing use and easy cleaning.

Two Cooling Methods
Use it as a conventional immersion chiller or as an ice-bucket chiller with wort pumped through the coil.

Compact Design
The 24cm-high coil fits inside compatible brewing vessels and smaller pots while providing an effective cooling surface.

Suitable for Up to 35L of Wort
Designed to cool batches of up to 35 litres from boiling temperature to the desired yeast-pitching range.

12.7mm Tubing
Compatible 12.7mm compression fittings can be used to connect hose fittings, including common homebrew camlock systems.

Method 1: Immersion Chilling

  1. Connect a cold-water supply to one end of the chiller and a drain hose to the other.
  2. Secure all hoses with suitable clamps or compatible compression fittings.
  3. Lower the chiller into the hot wort.
  4. Run cold water through the coil until the wort reaches the desired temperature.
  5. Gently agitate the wort or move the chiller carefully to improve heat transfer.

Method 2: Ice-Bucket Chilling

  1. Connect the brewing vessel to a suitable pump using heat-resistant silicone tubing.
  2. Pump the hot wort through the chiller and return it to the vessel.
  3. Allow boiling wort to circulate through the coil before cooling to heat-sanitise its internal surface.
  4. Place the chiller in a bucket containing approximately 5kg of ice and enough water to cover the coil.
  5. Continue circulating the wort until the desired temperature is reached.
