This vinometer for measuring the percentage of alcohol in your wine and mash. By using a vinometer you can determine how much alcohol your wine contains on the basis of the viscosity. Just fill the thin tube over the funnel with wine and turn the whole thing upside down. Due to the amount of wine remaining in the tube you can read the alcohol content on the scale.
This determines the alcohol content in fermented wines and wine-like beverages with low residual sugar content.
Application:
The recommended measuring temperature is 20 ° C
Fill the liquid in the funnel of the vinometer and close the small opening (capillary tube) with the index finger to turn over / tilt the vinometer so that the excess liquid can run out.
Hold the vinometer with the funnel down and take the index finger of the capillary tube to then read off the alcohol content on the scale.

Stir plates are ideal for big yeast starters. Propagating yeast will help you take your beer to the next stage by ensuring that the yeast produces flavorful characters. Instead of the stressed-out flavours that can occur while pitching.
If you're fermenting a lager, large yeast starters are essential for ensuring the flavour of your beer.
Our Conical flasks are made of the same fancy borosilicate glass that you'd find in spooky labs, with green smokey liquid pouring out of it.
If you want to warm up your DME for a yeast starter, this flask is ideal. This is your best bet if you're into wacky science experiments or just want to make big yeast starts.

This nutrient is formulated to enhance nutrient and biological fermentation regulation, consisting of autolyzed yeast with a high level of free amino acids and thiamine. Nutriferm Arom Plus primarily supplements branched-chain amino acids, which yeast can utilise to produce esters and other aromatic compounds.
When paired with a yeast strain that can effectively use these amino acids, Nutriferm Arom Plus significantly boosts the wine's aromatic intensity and complexity. Additionally, it provides survival factors that support yeast viability, ensuring successful fermentations.
- Applications: enhance secondary aroma production
- Dosage: 15-30 g/hL
- Packaging: 1 kg - 10 kg

31cm long Baume hydrometer 10 - 20 with 0.1 increments for measuring the sugar density in juice throughout the winemaking process.
Baume hydrometers are used for liquids heavier than water, for example, grape juice, sugar syrups.
How to Read a Hydrometer:
1. Pour your sample into a smooth, clear cylinder that is dry or well rinsed with a portion of the sample.
2. Make sure that your sample is thoroughly mixed before testing.
3. Immerse the hydrometer in the liquid to a point slightly below the place where it naturally floats. Make sure the hydrometer and liquid are at rest and free of air bubbles.
4. Measure the temperature of the sample. Ideally, the sample temperature should be equal to the temperature standard of the hydrometer, generally 60°F. If temperature differences are unavoidable, correction tables can help to adjust readings
5. Take your reading at the point where the surface of the liquid crosses the hydrometer.

An absolute must-have for any brewer, amateur to professional. Nothing can go past the accuracy and no-nonsense about a trusted hydrometer. This hydrometer is to measure the 0-100% of your alcohol.
A Hydrometer Measures the density or specific gravity of a liquid. Used to give a reading to the gravity of your wort.
Suspend the Hydrometer in a sample of your wort to get the reading in one of our 250mL Glass Cylinders or our 100mL Plastic Cylinder.
To calculate your % Alcohol By Volume
(OG - FG) x 131.25 = ABV %
Where OG is your Original Gravity e.g. 1.050 as shown by your hydrometer before you pitch your yeast.
and FG "Final Gravity" e.g. 1.010 as shown by the hydrometer after it has fermented.
= ( 1.050 - 1.010 ) * 131.25
= 5.25% ABV

This PH meter has many advantages features:
- This unit is water resistant and splashproof. Most of the user will drop this unit into a lot of sanitaser and liquid samples.
- Digital Triple Point Calibration: To suit the needs of accuracy this PH meter has got triple point calibration. The calibration is completely digital and can be done in 60 seconds. Just put the pH meter into the buffer solution that comes included and then hit the calibration button. It's as simple as that.
- Replaceable Electrode: Artisanal productions of liquids puts a lot of stress on the electrodes. Especially if you are testing hot liquids. For PH meters the electrodes are not difficult to damage in an artisanal environment and they have a tendency to fail over time. As a result, you can't replace the electrode. This pH meter has a replaceable electrode so you can just remove it and put on a new one if you damage it.
- Includes 3 packs buffer solution. Just add water and store in a glass jam jar and the buffer solution will last
- Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC): This additional feature means the probe needs to have a small temp probe at the end so it can compensate for high or low temperatures.
- Water Proof Cap: The main reason why pH meters start to fail over time is they are incorrectly stored. If your pH meter is left with a dry probe the KCL solution evapourates through the glass membrane. This significantly will affect your results. The cap on our pH meter has an o-ring and is a water tight seal. It's amazing how many pH meters don't have this basic function meaning your probe gets destroyed very quickly and you are back to purchase another unit. To keep your electrode in the best possible solution we recommend you clean with water then store in KCL storage solution inside the cap then push the cap on tight so it seals it up. This will keep your readings accurate for ages.
This awesome pH meter is now available for you, get it now!!! One of the best value PH meter in the market.

- Applications: fruity white wines obtained from neutral grapes and thiol-producing varieties
- Dosage: 20-40 g/hL
- Packaging: 0.5 kg - 10 kg
Ice packs are available to be purchased separately. If you are choosing to ship, it is recommended for this product to travel with an Ice Pack.
Quicker and easier, use this refractometer to measure unfermented wort. Once alcohol is present in the wort, the use of a correction table to measure the density of your beer or wine.
This kit comes with ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation) allowing you to use the refractometer between 10 – 30 degrees Celsius so the temperature of the sample is irrelevant.

Hydrometer Alcoholmeter 0 - 100% at 17cm long with proof scale and instructions.
Ideal for testing high alcohol brews. It will only work in spirits with no residual sugar as the sugar will cause buoyancy and give a false reading of strength. If you are distilling alcohol then this is the type of hydrometer you will need.
Reads from 0% up to 100% ABV.
Hydrometer alcoholmeter is used to find the alcohol percentage of alcohol by volume (abv) in a completely dry or distilled liquor. It does this by measuring the density of the liquid compared to that of alcohol; any residual sugar or other cause of change to the density will result in a false low reading.
Because there is often a minute amount of unfermented sugar following standard fermentation, along with dissolved carbon dioxide and spent yeast or solids remaining after fermentation, it is very difficult to obtain an accurate reading of the abv in such a liquid.
In addition, an alcoholmeter is increasingly difficult to read at lower alcohol percentages, compounding the problem. For this reason, it is suggested that you use an alcoholmeter only for the testing of distilled spirits.
