Making your own drinks comes down to the same handful of jobs every time. Ferment it cleanly, move it without picking up oxygen, then get it into a bottle that actually seals. This is where we keep the gear that crosses over between beer, wine, spirits and vinegar, so you are not hunting through four categories to find one fitting.
Start with the vessel. Our narrow neck and wide neck glass demijohns come from Italy with PVC baskets. Wide neck is far easier to clean and easier to load with fruit or must. Narrow neck suits a longer, quieter ferment and takes a demijohn cap or a bored silicone bung with an airlock. For bigger volumes, Algor inflatable seals cover variable capacity tanks. On the finishing end we stock 750ml claret flint bottles, 375ml BVS bottles, Diam corks, Novatwist screw caps for BVS necks, and Ferrari expansion stoppers for anything you want to shut again tomorrow.
One thing worth knowing. Oxy Clean sodium percarbonate will lift the ring inside a demijohn that no brush can reach, but it needs a good hot soak and a proper rinse. Citric acid afterwards neutralises what is left and keeps the glass clear. Most of the off flavours people blame on their yeast started life as a lazy clean.

This high quality beer line will keep your precious beverages in it's best possible conditoin throughout the whole process. These lines are both suited for liquid and gas lines.
This is available in 4mm, 5mm and 6mm sizes. 4mm is the smallest ID (inner Diameter) that we offer. This small ID is ideally suited to direct draw systems where only a short beer line is needed.
These Beer lines are suited for both liquid and gas lines for all your Homebrewing needs.
Outter Barrier:
The outter barrier has accurately extruded tolerances. It also seals well when used with various joiners, DuoTight or other push in fittings. The outter barrier gives the tubing excellent kink resistance so the line is able to bend around a tight radius without kinking.
Inner Barrier:
The inner barrier is made from a polymer that has excellent gas barrier. The significantly better barrier properties means your beer is better protected from oxygen and also has a better barrier to CO2 loss. So your beer will stay fresher for longer and not loose carbonation like other beer line types.

Hydrometer Alcoholmeter 0 - 100% at 17cm long with proof scale and instructions.
Ideal for testing high alcohol brews. It will only work in spirits with no residual sugar as the sugar will cause buoyancy and give a false reading of strength. If you are distilling alcohol then this is the type of hydrometer you will need.
Reads from 0% up to 100% ABV.
Hydrometer alcoholmeter is used to find the alcohol percentage of alcohol by volume (abv) in a completely dry or distilled liquor. It does this by measuring the density of the liquid compared to that of alcohol; any residual sugar or other cause of change to the density will result in a false low reading.
Because there is often a minute amount of unfermented sugar following standard fermentation, along with dissolved carbon dioxide and spent yeast or solids remaining after fermentation, it is very difficult to obtain an accurate reading of the abv in such a liquid.
In addition, an alcoholmeter is increasingly difficult to read at lower alcohol percentages, compounding the problem. For this reason, it is suggested that you use an alcoholmeter only for the testing of distilled spirits.

Microgranulated gallic tannin with high antioxidant activity. It can be added to the wine to enhance SO2 antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. Sensory neutral and very effective even at low doses, EnartisTan Blanc does not affect wine aroma. In white wines, it prevents the reductive characters caused by exposure to ultraviolet (light-struck defect).
Composition: Gallic tannin
Dosage:
- Must: 3 - 10 g/hL (0.25 - 0.8 lb/1,000 gal)
- Wine: 4 - 8 g/hL (0.3 - 0.7 lb/1,000 gal)
Instructions:
Dissolve EnartisTan Blanc in 10 times its weight of water, must or wine. Add the solution slowly to juice/wine while mixing using a Venturi tube, if possible.
Dissolve EnartisTan Blanc in a 1:10 ratio in water, must or wine while mixing continuously. Add to must/wine during pump-over with a dosage pump or a Venturi tube.
For addition to wine, performing laboratory trials is recommended to evaluate the sensory impact of the tannin and in order to determine the best dosage.
It is best to add EnartisTan Blanc during the first stages of ageing up until the last 1-2 weeks before bottling. If added close to bottling, it is important to evaluate the effect on filterability and protein and colloidal stability by completing preliminary laboratory trials.
Applications:
In white and rosé vinification for:
- Preventing iron and copper haze
- Improving clarification and protein stability
- Preventing “light-struck” defect
In all wines and must for:
- Strengthening the antioxidant and antimicrobial effect of SO2
- Preventing the appearance of reductive characters
Package & Storage
Sealed package: store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
Opened package: carefully reseal and store as indicated above
From $24.50 AUD
EnartisTan Elevage is extracted from lightly toasted French oak. It is very effective in treating and preventing the formation of reductive aroma. The use of EnartisTan Élevage as a wine fining and stabilizing agent has other effects of great technical interest such as:

- Enhances oak notes in wines aged in barrels
Applications:
During aging for:
- Fining of white and red wines
- Protein stabilization of white and rosé wines
- Prevention of hazes and oxidative phenomena due to iron and other metals
- Increased sensory cleanliness, particularly in the control and prevention of reductive aromas caused by the formation of sulfur compounds
Dosage:
- White and rosé wines: 2 - 8 g/hL (0.17 - 0.6 lb/1,000 gal)
- Red wines: 4 - 15 g/hL (0.3 – 1.3 lb/1,000 gal)
Instructions:
Dissolve EnartisTan Élevage at a 1:10 ratio in water or wine while mixing continuously. Add to wine during a pump-over with a dosage pump or Venturi tube.
Performing laboratory trials is advised to evaluate the sensory impact of the tannins and in order to determine the best dosage. If added close to bottling, it is important to evaluate the effect on filterability and protein and colloidal stability.
