*You must ALWAYS pair the type of metal in regards to plates and knives. If you have all carbon knives, plates and worm pins, and only want to buy an extra plate then it has to be carbon also. Although, carbon plates can wear over time and eventually shed small carbon particles onto your meats. However, if you want to upgrade to stainless steel plates and currently have carbon accessories, then you MUST also buy a stainless-steel knife and worm pin to complete the stainless-steel set. The consequence of having carbon and stainless-steel accessories working together, is that the stainless steel will wear away the carbon and shed particles of the carbon as the pieces turn.*

Liquid Smoke Apple Wood Essence is produced in Australia from a combination of Apple and other species to provide just the right amount of smoky flavour for your cooking needs. Apple is a sweeter smoke that has been used to smoke white to pink meats such as fish, chicken, and pork.

These Liquid Smoke products can be used in or on meats, making them an excellent complement to Sausages and Jerky.

Liquid smoke may be added to any food, including sauces, as well as sprayed on BBQ meats and added to soups. The flavour is applied during the curing, drying, or processing stages, which eliminates the need for smoking.
Just a few drops are required to achieve a smokey flavour in meals and a few sprays on meat, similar to an essence. This product can be used for vegan and vegetarian meats.

Hot paprika gets called for by the handful in plenty of family sausage recipes, and anyone who makes a batch each winter knows how quickly a small supermarket jar disappears. It is just as useful in the kitchen through the rest of the year. Ask our team at Laverton North or Epping if you want a hand choosing between the paprikas we carry.
