Coffee at home in an Italian household is not a ceremony, it is a habit. A pot on the stove, small cups, done. What you need is gear that stands up to being used twice a day for years.
The stovetop side is covered by the Incasa percolators, including a three cup, and there is a portable Incafe coffee maker for camping or the office. Grinding is either the Incafe electric bean grinder or the manual wooden grinder with an Italian mechanism, which doubles happily as a pepper grinder. Cups matter more than people admit: Incasa do sets of four espresso cups in the Scopa card design and the Fiat 500 design, latte cups in the Scopa Briscola design, and there is a stainless steel cup and saucer if you want something that will not chip in a caravan. For keeping beans fresh there are VacuVin saver containers in 650ml and 1.3 litre, and a 2.5 litre coffee and food saver that comes with the black vacuum pump. There is also a chrome moka key ring, which makes a decent small gift.
Here is the one worth knowing. If your moka pot is smaller than the burner it sits on, a gas reducer support ring holds it steady and keeps the flame under the base instead of licking up the sides. We stock a star pattern one and a square one in a two pack.
