BBQ Hot Plate Cast Iron (Italian)

Cast iron is what you want under a steak or a tray of sausages: it takes its time coming up to heat and then it holds it, so the plate does not drop away the moment you load it up. Season it, look after it, and it gets better with use rather than worse. This one is for anyone tired of thin pressed plates that warp after a season out in the weather.
