A BVS finish, such as the 750ml Claret Flint Light Weight or the 375ml Flint BVS, takes a Novatwist plastic screw cap or an aluminium pre thread screw cap instead. Beer goes into 26mm crown seals, the Ferrari gold caps being the usual choice. Then there are the odd sizes worth knowing about, the Italian Tomato Passata Sauce Bottle 720ml for sauce season, the 200ml Limoncello flint bottle, a 35mm metal screw cap for demijohns and a 38mm cap for two litre flagons.
