All Grain Brewing Systems
All grain means making the wort yourself from malt instead of opening a tin. More control, more cleaning, and better beer once you have a couple of batches behind you. There are two honest ways in and we stock both.
The simplest is brew in a bag. A large strainer bag, ideally the one with lift straps, sits in the pot and holds the crushed grain while it mashes, and there is a small hop sock for the boil. Kegland and Keg King both make them. The step up is an all in one electric system. The 35L BrewZilla Gen 3.1 is the complete grain to boiler unit, and the heavy duty false bottoms suit it and the DigiBoil. Crush your own with the Victoria Molino manual grain mill and you control the crush rather than accepting whatever came in the bag. From there the Apollo 30L conical pressure fermenter with the yeast dump valve takes the wort through to packaging. A Morgans rigid shell heat pad helps in a cold shed.
Stir with something long enough for the job. The Ferrari 80cm food grade brewing spoon and the 52cm paddle exist because a short spoon in a deep mash leaves grain sitting on the element, and scorched grain is a burnt note you cannot fix later.

The Fermentasaurus has been designed with a sanitary butterfly valve with stainless gate. ย This butterfly valve has been designed so that no threads are immersed in liquid when the Fermentasaurus is in use. ย Many fermenters on the market use ball valves which areย notoriously difficult to sanitise as the ball valve assemblies have small cavities in them that fill with liquid and are near impossible to clean without disassembly.
With the optionalย pressure kitย you can presurise the vessel up to 35psi to allow you to carbonate and dispense direclty from vessel like a keg! Alternativley you can transfer under pressure to stainless kegs with practically no exposure to oxygen.

Fermentasaurus is the worldโs first conical PET fermenter that is pressurisable up to 2.4 Bar working pressure. This Australian made product will change the way home brew is made and greatly simplify the home brewing process.
Home brewers can see the yeast in action as the Fermentasaurus is crystal clear. ย You can dump yeast from the conical shape and clarify the beer without the need to rack off into another vessel. Donโt waste time and put your beer at risk; ย now you can ferment, clarify and carbonate in one vessel.
The breakthrough in this new design means that customers can finally naturally carbonate their clear conditioned beer in the Fermentasaurus and dispense directly to tap. No need to carbonate beer in the keg or bottle. ย You can drink directly from the Fermentasaurusย saving time and hassle.
Fermentasaurus Grainary Dispenser is ideal for storing, dispense and display malt and grains at any time.ย
The grainary valve allows dispensing the grain easily. It is an alternative way to keep using your Fermentasaurus Tanks after they are retired from use. Reuse and repurpose your tank easily with the grain valve that never clogs. You'll be saving the environment by not wasting your PET Tank.
It is a clear PET body. Grain is not included.

The Fermenter King 60L, a plastic PET conical uni tank with a CO2 pressure lid. The conical base lets you drop trub and yeast out the bottom instead of racking off it, and the pressure lid means ferment and carbonate happen in the same vessel.
Sixty litres is a solid batch. Talk to us at Laverton North or Epping about the fittings and gas setup you'll want alongside it.
The replacement thermometer for the FastFerment. It reads the temperature of the ferment itself rather than the room, which is the number that actually matters when you are chasing a clean result.
Sold as a single part for FastFerment fermenters. Check the fitting on your unit before ordering, and send us a photo if you would like us to confirm it is the right one.
The insulated jacket for the FastFerment. It wraps the conical to slow temperature swings, which is worth having if your fermenter lives somewhere that swings ten degrees between afternoon and morning.
Sold as a replacement or an add on for FastFerment fermenters. Check your fermenter size before ordering, and our team at Laverton North or Epping can confirm the fit.
The replacement collection ball for the FastFerment. It screws onto the bottom of the conical and catches the trub and yeast as it drops, so you can harvest or dump without opening the fermenter up.
Sold as a single part for FastFerment fermenters. Check the thread against your unit before ordering, and we will confirm it for you if you send the details.
A drill vortex paddle on an 8 x 600mm stainless steel rod, for aerating and cleaning. Chuck it into a drill and it whips air into wort or stirs a cleaning solution through a vessel without you reaching in.
The 600mm rod gets you to the bottom of a tall fermenter. Stainless, so it washes down and stores away without rusting.
A 76cm stainless steel mash paddle with a comfortable handle, for stirring your mash and boil without scorching your hands. The long reach and sturdy blade make light work of mixing in grain and knocking back a rolling boil. A hard wearing tool that will see many a brew day.
$140.00 AUD
A thermostat heat control running from 0 to 4 degrees Celsius with a 1.5 degree increment differential, in the capillary probe style. The probe goes where you want the reading taken and the unit switches accordingly.
It is a narrow range with a fine differential, so it is built for tight temperature holds. Check the range suits what you are controlling before ordering, and ask us if you would like it confirmed.
$15.00 AUD
The inner glass tube for the immersible heater. It is the sleeve the heating element sits inside, and a cracked tube means the heater should not go anywhere near your wort until it has been replaced.
Sold as a replacement accessory. Check the length and diameter against your heater before ordering, and send us a photo if you would like us to confirm the match.
$39.00 AUD
Code: 129328

A 30 watt fermenter heater wrap panel for fermenters from 60 to 200 litres, keeping your brew warm and steady when the weather turns cool. Gentle, even heat helps your yeast stay happy for a clean, reliable ferment through winter. A simple bit of kit that keeps brew day on track all year round.
The Keg King Chubby 30L fermenter, a poly plastic shell built for home brewing and kegging duty. Thirty litres gives you room for a standard batch with headspace for a vigorous ferment.
Fittings and lids vary between fermenter ranges, so if you are matching this to gear you already own, check with us at Laverton North or Epping first.
$96.74 AUD
An insulated copper counterflow wort heat exchanger, supplied as a package. Wort runs one way, cooling water the other, and you pull your boil down fast on the way to the fermenter. The insulation keeps the heat where it belongs rather than in your brew shed. Have a chat with us about hose and fitting sizes so it plumbs straight into your setup.
Clearance stock: a 20 litre plastic fermenter, listed against a miscellaneous code as a drum. Sold at a clearance price, so expect it to be exactly what it is rather than showroom fresh. The listing is thin on detail around the lid, tap and fittings, so ask us what is included with the ones we have left before you order.
$4.50 AUD
$55.00 AUD
A wort aerator from Keg King, supplied with an air pump, an inline filter and a stainless steel porous stone. The three pieces come together as one set, so there is nothing else to source separately.
You will find it on the shelf at both Laverton North and Epping. If you have a question about the stone or the filter, ask one of our team and we will help.
$55.00 AUD
High quality replacement mesh bag for your 40L Hydropress.
These bags are strong and resilient!
The bag's actual dimensions are 610mm wide by 750mm deep.
The 0.5 ย stone is used to force carbonate beverages like beer, champagne or sparking meads with carbon dioxide. The 2.0 stone can be used ย to oxygenate wort using an oxygen regulator. The holes in the 0.5 stone are too fine to use it to aerate the wort with an aeration pump. However, compared with the 2.0 micron stone, the 0.5 micron stone will carbonate beer quicker and with a longer lasting head because the bubbles that it creates are smaller. The stones are ย 1" long and .5" in diameter.ย
ย
Force carbonating beverages.
You will need a homebrew kegging outfit with CO2 tank, regulator, lines, and a keg. Simply attach a 24" length of ยผโ ID tubing to the gas side dip tube of your keg with a worm clamp. On the other end of the tubing, attach the diffusion stone using another clamp. ย There are charts available online and in books for exact levels of temperature and CO2 pressure to achieve desired carbonation levels. Following is an example for average carbonation in beer: Chill the beer to 40 F. Adjust the regulator to 2 PSI and attach the gas disconnect. Every 3 minutes increase the pressure 2 PSI until 12 PSI is reached. At this point the beer will be carbonated, but it wonโt hurt to leave it alone in the refrigerator for a few days under pressure.ย
If using pure oxygen to oxygenate the wort,ย Note: High gravity beers may require more time because oxygen does not dissolve as easily in liquids with a high specific gravity.ย
Never touch the sintered part of the diffusion stone with your hands. Use sanitized gloves. Oils from your fingers will clog the ย holes.
CLEANING: Sanitise stone in boiling water or clean in a non-rinse sanitiser whilst running CO2 or air through the stone.ย
The Guten False Bottom screens are made from perforated, ridge-strengthened 304 stainless steel with a folded edge for a perfect fit in the malt pipe. The improved locking design boosts mash efficiency, keeps particulates contained, and prevents the screen from pushing through the base.
Easy to insert and remove for cleaning, these false bottoms also add sturdiness to the overflow pipe. Designed for both the 40L and 50L Guten Brewery Systems, theyโre the ideal upgrade for clearer wort and smoother brewing.
The 35L False Bottom is designed to filter and protect your brew and pump from large amounts of hops and adjuncts such as orange peels, coriander seeds, and more, helping you achieve a cleaner and more efficient brew. It is compatible with both the 35L DigiBoil and the 35L BrewZilla brewing systems and is ideal for grain boiling applications.
Built for durability, this false bottom is welded together for maximum strength, unlike two-piece heavy-duty false bottoms on the market. The handles provide both strength and ease of use, making it a reliable accessory to protect your pump and enhance your brewing process
Approximate Dimensions:
- Diameter: 30 cm
- Height: 3.5 cmย
A reinforced ripple stainless steel false bottom, 30cm, for your grain boiler or all grain system. It sits above the element to hold back the grain bed and give you clean wort with good flow. A sturdy, well made part that lifts the quality of your all grain brew day.
A professional steam condenser set for the 65L Digiboiler and BrewZilla, with a 2 inch tri clover fitting. It captures the steam from your boil and vents it away, so you can brew indoors without filling the kitchen with condensation. A game changer for anyone brewing in a garage, laundry or apartment.
Suits 65L Gen 4 and Gen 3 BrewZillas, 65L Digiboils and older model Robobrews.
Designed to be extremely sturdy when using heavier stills or off-center steam condenser units. Now you can watch your wash boil and see if it's foaming or about to puke. If you are brewing beer indoors you may want to use a steam condenser lid set, without having to take off the entire lid to do hop/salt additions, simply remove the 3" Sight Glass and throw in (take care when hot).
PPSU is an excellent choice for components that are exposed to high temperatures (up to 200ยฐC) and corrosive media due to its exceptional chemical resistance. As well as being extremely impact resistant.
We have decided to use this type of plastic because it also has superior thermal and mechanical properties with the added benefit of being transparent. This will allow us to injection mold intricate parts that would have been near impossible to do in stainless steel or lab-grade glass. Because this is a very unique type of plastic, it comes at a much higher cost per kg than other industrial plastics. So much so that it costs more than stainless steel.
