Wine Pumps & Beverage Transfer
Moving wine, oil or beer without picking up air or stirring the sediment back in. Sixty eight lines covering pumps, syphons, hose and the fittings between them.
Rover wine pumps are the Italian standard for small scale transfer, and we stock them in the Novax and brass bodied versions. They are self priming and gentle enough for finished wine, which is the point: an aggressive pump will strip aroma and pull air into a wine you have spent a year on.
For simpler jobs, the Ferrari easy pump quick start syphon with 8mm hose gets a transfer going without a mouthful, and the large telescopic blow siphon reaches the bottom of a tall demijohn. A racking plate on the end of a 16mm tube keeps the intake above the lees, which is the whole trick to racking cleanly, and there is a plastic sediment racking plate as well. A hand held electric suction pump handles emptying drums.
Hose comes thin wall vinyl, thick wall vinyl, polyester yarn reinforced for pressure, and food grade silicone. Match the wall to the job: thin wall kinks under suction, reinforced does not.
For oil and spirits, the TENCO Enolmatic tandem filter housing takes Bravopleat cartridges, and we stock the O rings and the premium suction hose separately.

A stainless steel foot strainer filter for a brass non return valve with a 19 mm BSP inlet, also known as a tap screen. It keeps skins, pips and the odd bit of stalk out of your pump while you are transferring. Cheap, and far less annoying than pulling a blocked pump apart. A barrel fill gun with a 19 mm hosetail on a 1 BSP female thread, in a white plastic body. The trigger gives you control at the barrel rather than running back to the pump every time, which is the entire point of one. Thread and hosetail size are the fit.
