Still Spirits

Still Spirits are the New Zealand house that made home distilling accessible, and the range they build is a complete system rather than a shelf of unrelated products. Two hundred and twelve lines here.

The Top Shelf essences are what most people come for. Kentucky Bourbon, Dark Spiced Rum, Honey Spiced Whiskey Liqueur and the rest of the range, designed to be added to a neutral base rather than to do the work themselves. The Classic and Icon ranges sit alongside them, and there are gin botanicals including a London Dry blend if you would rather infuse than flavour.

Turbo yeasts are the engine. Classic 8 is the workhorse and comes as a single or a three pack, and there are dedicated distillers yeasts including a 20g whiskey strain for when you want character rather than neutrality. Turbo Clear sachets drop the yeast out at the end, and the distilling conditioner smooths what comes off.

For the hardware end, the alembic copper pot condenser, the Create+ copper dome and condenser, the T500 condenser and the G40 distilling lid with a 100mm triclover fitting all live here, along with a dome attachment kit for adapting gear you already own.

There is Bundaberg food grade molasses in 14kg for anyone working from scratch rather than from a kit.
