A 15 litre tropical IPA fresh wort kit from All Inn. This one has been discontinued, so what is on the shelf is what is left and there will be none coming behind it. If you have brewed it before and liked it, that is your cue to grab one. Fresh wort kits save you the mash and the boil: pitch the yeast, run the ferment and you are away. Fifteen litres fills a decent run of bottles or drops into a keg. Follow the instructions supplied with the kit.

Gin Black Label essence from Prestige, code 417325, in a 20ml bottle. Gin is where most people start once they have a neutral spirit sitting in a jar and want to make something they will actually pour for friends. Black Label is a separate line within the Prestige gin essences, so it is worth trying alongside whichever one you already use rather than instead of it. Twenty millilitres treats a batch, so there is no harm in running two side by side. Follow the directions on the bottle for quantities.

A flat o-ring to suit olive oil tanks, made in Italy. Seals are the part that quietly decides whether a tank does its job, and a flattened or perished o-ring is usually what is behind a weep around the lid or a tank that will not hold. Replacing one is a five minute job and a great deal cheaper than living with the problem all season. Worth keeping a spare if you fill tanks each year and do not want to be caught out on the day. Match it against your existing seal before ordering.
