A mincer is a motor and an attachment, and the reason we sell the brands we do is that both halves can be replaced separately. Seventy nine lines here covering motors, mincer heads, plates, knives and the drive parts that wear.
Fabio Leonardi motors are the ones most Melbourne families own. We stock them bare, with a white cover and with a stainless cover, plus complete mincer packages either way. The FLB twist-lock attachment goes on and off without tools, and a foot pedal switch is worth having when both hands are full of meat. Reber make their own mincer attachment, and Carnivore Collective do a 1hp motor combined with a 26L mixer.
Plates and knives are consumables. Get the number right and the rest follows: sizes 5, 8, 10/12, 22 and 32, in Italian stainless from Salvinox and Raut, and in carbon steel through FLB. Carbon holds a keener edge and needs drying; stainless is easier to live with. Knives come single, twin, quad and wave cut, and there are square hole and kidney plates for specific jobs.
The parts nobody else stocks are here too: drive shafts for TC8, TC12, 22 and 32, worm screws in nickel plate, motor seals for the MR9 and MR0, nylon washers and Rigamonti crank handles.
