The DMCSI is composed of a hopper and a case, both those and all the screws are made of stainless-steel. Inside the hopper there’s a screw conveyor which continuously moves the grapes toward the rollers. The powerful engine mounted on the side generates a rotatory movement which is transferred to all the mechanisms: the rollers for the crushing, the screw conveyor and the destemming shaft, which works with the extractable stainless-steel grid to separate the grapes from the stems. The rollers and all the gears are made in nylon, material which guarantees reliability and sturdiness. Thanks to the special supports, the rollers are adjustable by a few millimeters.
