Stainless Steel Tank Lid - Oil System

Stainless steel oil floating lids are suitable for all types of variable capacity tanks. This type of floating lid prevents the wine to come into contact with air.

Usually, tanks or containers/tanks opened at the top, are ideal for this style of lid.

The floating lid is positioned on the liquid inside the tank and on the surface that remains in contact with the air, oil is poured between the edge of the floating lid and the inner surface of the tank. This system will protect wine from air contact (Oxidation or other).

The oil is odorless, tasteless and for food use, being lighter than wine the oil stays afloat and prevents air from coming into contact with the liquid.

** Some of these lids come with the rob lifting lug and others don't. So, they will just plain.

The border for these lids is approx. 2 to 3 cm
