This process helps to retain the moisture within the cheese, and protect it from external mould while the cheese is aged. This high-quality yellow cheese wax by Mad Millie has been made the age-old way.
Heat wax in a metal bowl to above 71 degrees Celsius and dip the cheese each side into the wax until fully covered, leaving no holes.
