Assistant Retail Manager Full time

An exciting opportunity to take ownership of our West Melbourne Store, a busy sales environment. It will be a permanent Full-time position.

  • Previous store management experience in a retail environment
  • 2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service or warehouse
  • Keen to self-training in selling equipment for making salami, wine, sauce, beer, spirits, cheese and more

The role:
· Managing all day to day aspects of running the store from rostering, training, H&S, cash handling, sales, customer service, etc.
· Organising process like ITO, fulfilments, suppliers, paperwork.
· Leading the team and creating procedures to improve our processes to increase sales in store, customer service, stock accuracy and store presentation.
· Spearheading passion for DIY and self-training to grow your knowledge into it. which will provide you with added sales confidence

· Perform all retail floor functions including but not limited to sales, answering phones, display, cleaning, dust and pricing products, putting away products in the correct location, control the inventory (cycle stock takes), manage our software, systems and procedures on daily basis, standing for extended periods, climb ladders, heavy restocking and retrieving merchandise, windows and store display, handling cash, unloading shipments/pallets, etc.

Warehouse Coordinator

Warehouse Coordinator – Epping

  • Minimum 3 - 6 years in a previous similar role in Australia
  • Current Forklift and Driver Licence – Essential
  • Be proficient in computer systems (warehouse management software and excel) - Essential
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English

 

Seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator. It will be a Full Time position. Our Epping warehouse is around 850sqm with a forklift racking system up to 4.1m reach. We are seeking a highly motivated person, someone who has worked in the warehouse and logistics before controlling the goods in the system as well as at the warehouse.

 

The role:

  • Performing daily warehouse operations, actively receiving goods, putting stock on shelves, dispatching goods, forklift driving, ordering supplies for packaging, talking with suppliers, checking purchase orders.
  • Manage the warehouse software.
  • Once a week deliver the stock transfer to West Melbourne Store from Epping. You’ll drive the business van and, occasionally, business trailer.
  • Controlling the inventory in the POS system daily. You will need to process pack downs, stock adjustments, fulfilments, wholesale, etc.
  • Dealing with shipping matters and companies.
  • Organising and executing annual stock take and periodic stock takes.
  • Coordinating the packaging process. You will supervise the packing staff member and assign tasks.
  • Unloading containers and receive the goods in.
  • Keeping warehouse clean, tidy, functional and safe is also essential.
